Sorry if this is a dumb question,but,Im running hardcore on my cod4 server,and no matter what I change in the gametypes cfg. as far as spawntimes go,the spawn time is like 10 seconds.Does anyone know how to set it so you spawn right away?Thanks in advance,Gas

In _globallogic.gsc respawnDelay is set to 10. It looks unavoidable by setting new dvars, so you will have to mod it to respawn immediately I think.

set scr_dm_playerrespawndelay 1 (or 0 but don't know if that works)
set scr_dm_waverespawndelay 0

This doesnt work?
you must change _dm_ to whatever gametype you're running.

All respawn times are in a script. You can't use commands to set respawn time. I think it should have been something the developers should have added.

Thanks guys,I found a "hardcore" gsc file and found the respawn time in there which is ten seconds.I guess like OutPours said,it will have to be a mod.Thanks for the responses,Gas

the other game types we left alone.
