So im helping one of my buddies get set up, once he downloaded radiant and tried to open it a box came up that read "Open" and then he either can choose Bin, or mya bin had certain files in it and mya just had 2 folders scripts and textures. There is no option to choose from. I had him go into the main and go into the bin which for some reason had files in it now, and try starting the application from there..again same thing happened. When he xed out of the "open" window another comes up claiming radiant has encountered an error to fix press okay. then the box with all the check marks comes up. I had him click okay and nothing else just to see and it just closed. Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this? please list some ideas. will have him update his drivers and what not tomorrow, if it still happens after that ill come back on to check with you guys! Thanks for everything!

i believe there are tutorials on how to set up radiant. i am not going to find them for you because that's your job ;-) if you look to the left of this page, you will find tuts on how to set it up.
when you first try to install rediant, you have to open up the .prj file that i think is in your bin folder. then, you will most likely get a few errors. there are .dll files that you need to download and install into your bin folder. Just do a search for those files and you will find them online for free. Then you will need to make sure your friend removes all the custom maps and mods from his main folder or radiant will crash. Then tell him to come here and read all the tuts and watch all the video's. the cod1 vids also because most of that info still applies for cod2
