hey guys im trying to make a soccer ball for cod2
for my map
i dont tink tis possable to make it spin but i tink its possable to mak eit move when it gets shot or bashed like a player the damage and such
so if you know or have a idea on how to do this using triggers or other tools

if you came up with that idea from css i would forget about that happening in cod2. the quake engine doesnt have rag doll abilities (i do not belive) while the source engine does. you can make the soccor ball model and you can make it spin but you cannot make it 'kickable'.

old man with i a gun or codmp wrote this
A trigger_damage can recognize the damage it got, but you have need scripting to check the amount
eg.
dmg_trig = getent ("dmagetrigger","targetname");
dmg_trig waittill("damage", amount);
But the amount will be a maximum of 150 (a bash) which isn't a big distance. So you have to multiplicate the damage with another value (so it's math) to raise the distance the ball can move.
