Yeah...I have made 2 posts already and still noone has helped me solve my problem...even though more then 30 people have looked! so...here is my problem AGAIN in hopes that someone will read this and HELP ME.

I would like to change the weapons that the player starts with in a single player game. I have a map, and under worldspawn I enter this:

Key: Emplacement
Value: WP_NONE

This doesn't work. Other weapons dont work either. So is this just something imposible to do (which seems unlikely and stupid) or can SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

There is one other option. The people who looked don't know the answer.

As for your problem.. i don't know the answer either.

If you enter "WP_Knife" you don't get the kinfe either?
If not, what do you get instead?

Thank you for taking intrest in my problem =)

What happens is that I get an error message ingame that says "Couldn't find world starting emplacement 'WP_Knife'"

No matter what I start with the following things in my inventory:

Pathfinder Knife
M4 Rifle
Mk. 23 Pistol
None (obviously)

And the thing is that my paths must be set right, because I can place weapons that can be picked up and they worked...so I really dont know.

I wish I could help, but I don't know either. It's been too long.
That error makes me think that the weapon is trying to spawn with the player yet the player hasn't spawned yet so it's creating an error.

try moving the key/value to the player spawn point. I don't expect it to work, but worth a try.

o_o yeah that didn't work. Plus I tried some other stuff but no cigar...

I dont know...maybe some files got corrupted or sumthing and I have to reinstal SOF2 and the editor? [sad]

Writing a "levelstart script" is a good way to get your setting right. Imo scripts are an essential element of designing a sp map. The documentation about behave is a good start as well the source scripts from jedi academy which are free available in their sdk.
