Q4 is really quite bland, but personaly, better than the rest of the rubbish coming out lately. I would love heXen style Morrowind, it could be called heXen World or something. But heXen and perhaps even Quake II are hardcore games, heXen really needs you to look into the story and think it all over, and gamers today want GTA. Mana types - there could be 3, blue, green, red, like keys in DooM. But if it will be like Morrowind, it's an RPG then, so there really should be a variety of weapons... Well, there isn't a single game that has more than one mana supply except Heretic II (heXen mana was more like ammo). And also we can look into more difference between classes - like barbarian shouldn't have any mana supplies, and Mage should have all three of them. Maybe red mana will be centered around elemental damage, blue around divine magic, green for nature and illusionist magic... Well, the heXen-Morrowind idea deserves a separate disscussion IMO, so if you create a topic in heXen area, I will gladly join in. |

D'sparil Go you and I thought I was the only one to have game storm ideas :3 I was thinkng of more a FPS based Adventure game like HeXeN 1 but alil bigger more areas closed off in maps so you have to come back to them later not so much morrowind I thought of morrowind becuse its about the only newest medevilish FPS even tho tis a full blow RPG. When I sam man for hexen I mean ammo :P 3 ammo tpyes for 4 weapons is alil painfull doubleing it and then havieng weapons drain certain mana...it could work to where it would not be annoying but I'll have to naw on the idea *L* Mmm werent there Yellow keys? I'll have to think see how empty my mind is to start up a new HeXeN Convo....
Mmmm what gamers want...mmmmm I call the brunt of todays gamers zombies they are happy with anythign that devs toss out at them, they are shallow and focus on looks and bloodshed frist. OMG if you want blood shed try BLOOD its still my number 1 fav FPS it has the dark theme the wisecracking madman a ton of fun weapons and fun game paly.
GTA is a sandbox game based off of voilance and the drugculture its going to sell mostly becuse of thos 2 , its silly its not a MA game the whole hotcoffe thing is so sad its funny... Do I like GTA no to me its boreing and dumb.
Top 5 fav FPS
1.Blood 2.System Shock 2 3.Unreal Gold 4.CLive BArkers Undieing 5.Dues EX 6.Halo Other FPS of note Unreal UT,SHOGO M.A.D,Eleite Force 1-2,Halo,Hexen and heretic 1-2 of corse,Citizen Kabuto,Q2,Q1,Doom,Duke Nukem Seroues sam is ok but tis not in my top ten *L*
Its a shame Monolith went the way of all devs they have become complete corperate whores BLood 2 has to be the worest FPS seaqule to date.....
BTW play many Console only FPSs? Time Spliters has charm even tho the games are cheap they have that old class FPS charm *L* Darkwatch is pretty good I set it to lefty controls and it reminded me some of turok ^^ |
