hellooooo again..lol ok fast. i download Shotgun Room and follow the script...i understand it somewhat..but i was able to get the sound music to work on some areas of the map..woohoo. Now the problem ............after the song is over.(song is a 10sec. audio clip) the orginal ambient that started in the begin of the map is gone ...it does not play anymore. can someone help..thanks!!!!

IF
your only using one file that is 10 seconds long

add a loop after any playing

// this is where you are playing it
playtune(1);

// this starts a loop, will play song in 12 seconds
thread loop_song();

loop_song()
{
wait(12);

playtune(1);
}

OR
in the "play_tune(tellme)" function
just before it exits
add

wait (12); // change this to suit needs
ambientPlay("ambient_mp_carentan");

IF you have more songs, BUT they are all 10, same will work, if they are close, do a wait 20.

this is what suppose to happen.

After the map is loaded you hear the ambient of dawnville..just like everyother map. after halfway up the beach i put a trigger that set off a song..(fine) but after teh song is done the ambient does not kick in.

I will try what u posted and let you know how it turns out...thanks for the reply.

yeah its not working...i am assuming i gotta have muliple triggers to kick in the background sound after music.

(orginal background ambient--->music sound--->end music--->restart background ambient)

hmmm
