Well although i have permission to use the maps from the NX01 mod i havent actually recieved them yet so i thought i would have a bash myself so be honest....I studied every nook and cranny of the DVD's and although i added nearly every detail it just looks to much ???  and i got more to add yet  !!
What do you guys think ?? ( I posted at K7 as well to see what they think )

BTW....Im working on the Defiant section atm as well so progress id still good anyway

The lights are visable in the mirror version as shown below probably because its darker and more moody and im using mostly real lighting so the effect looked better i thought. However i havent set the lighting to the atmospere yet i just put them in to see how they looked :)

The side panels i am still playing with...They did go a little Beige at the end of the series and the pic of Hoshi does show this. (if you really look closely) ..Mine are darker i know but the map will be a bit more evil than the well lit NX01 your mod was based on. If the real lighing slows things to much i can use entities instead and still keep the effect but at the moment it flies along.

Im also thinking of losing any curves as from experience bots hate them and AAS compiles hate them ( This is HM dont forget) Also im thinking of making segmants of the ship rather than a whole deck that way it will seem bigger than it is. Not forgetting there are 2 ships i have to allow for ( the Defiant and NX01 and maybe the asteroid base )
The handles i can improve but the pic is 100 % brushwork and i cant make models so i will have to play a little....Suttle differences can be good as its in the mirror universe anyway and i didnt want to totally rip off or just do a clone of your amazing mod !!!
The gaps between the arches are really guesswork to a point and a little logical thinking. Six lights above and two below and seem to be approximatly the same distance as the arch itself so corridors intersect properly...Simple mathmatics really (I hope ) Provided i got the gap approximatly right but again they are really very narrow corridors on the set so i can allow a little more for HM

Cant wait to recieve the maps :) Turning the Bridge evil is going to be a real experience for me.

Your right about the angle of the photos so i will re-look into that see if i can tone them down a bit....Your mod is great reference but it takes me ages to get to the corridor part as i keep getting killed.
Ye i know...perhaps i should save it. Pity i keep forgetting.
I will load up your mod and take another look.

BTW !!! It would be great to use your textures thanks.....i hadnt so far ( even though i new i had permission to use the maps ) as i thought it would be a bit cheeky until i had officially recieved them.

Ok ...Looks like i still have a lot to learn and try out....Thats awsome info thanks Paracyte !!!

Meanwhile you were correct on every aspect of your earlier post.....the pics below shows a re-scale and re-texture and should now be 99% scaled the same as yours...Lights are still there but not quite jumping out at you...i re-did my handles and lost the large pieces....I still have a few things to add and then darken the mood a little but does this look any better...A bit more like metal i thought.

BTW....I have those shots and many more in Qtime movies so you can look around a lot of the main ship areas in 360 degrees.....Want them ???
