ok now i tryed a few different ways to get the models on to my map. well i tryed to go into the 2d window then misc- then prefabs- then bunker 2. i went to file- then cod2 folder- then i found the collod or however it is spelled file and opened it. selected bunker 2 and got it in the map. then i positioned it where i thought it would be suitable. i have no clue how to insert more than one model. after i get it in i have no clue how to put another one in the map.

to add a model to the map, right click in the 2D window and select misc>model and then navigate through the xmodels folder and select the model of your choice.

to add a prefab to the map, right click in the 2D window and select misc>prefab and then navigate through the prefabs folder and select the prefab of your choice.


Models (xmodels) are created in Maya and imported into CoD2. They include things like couches, furniture, lighting fixtures, guns, players, vehicles, etc. They cannot be edited directly.

Prefabs are simply other maps that are imported as a single entity into a larger map. There are, for instance, prefabs of buildings, doors, and walls that can be used in other maps. The advantage of a prefab is that you can 'enter' it (Edit>Enter Prefab) and edit everything about it, since it is merely another .map file.
