like the topic ,making games.. i want to make a game and i don't really know much about making them ,and i wanted to ask if anyone knew a site where it is explained how to build your own map maker etc. etc. i want to mix Age of Empires and Call of Duty together.. so like you have a option to vieuw via a Soldier view on the ground..(first shooter) and a 2D view so you can see all the forces moving etc. could anyone help me? I dont know much about actually making a game, but i do know you will need to know how to script. Im not sure but i think being fluent in C++ would help out a lot with the scripting parts.

all i have to say is start off by googling game creation programs or something. if you want to start of small and free get gamemaker 6. but if yo uwant a nice program you usually have to for over $500 + .
