I have an awesome idea for a map. It will be called mp_SCIM, mainly to be used for scrims only. I will need help on it though.

It's gametype will be a combo of bel, hq, sd, ret.

Here is how it will work...

Americans start out in a plane and paratroop down, except for one person who will set up the Eureaka becon. If the becon isnt set up within 30 sec. then Americans wont have any bomber support. If the becon is set then the bomber support comes in 5 secs after the becon is set up. Then the paratroopers jump 6 second after the Eureaka becon is set up.

It will include useable
-Flak 88
-AA gun
-Mortars
-2 hq radios (1 axis, 1 allies)
-6 sd objectives
-3 ret objectives (documents (allies only), and
the hqradios)

Also once the ret documents are retrieved then the axis will know which sd objectives to protect.

Before that only the allies know which 4 out of the 6 sd objectives to destroy.


For the bel part, while the enemy team is on their side of the map, the (?) question mark will be at an average distance from all the players. Once the enemy team crosses over to the axis side, then the (?) will split to work like regular bel.

For the hq, there will be 2 radios with both axis and allies having one. They will be able to be picked up by the owning team, but the enemy team has to destroy it. Also I want to find a way to be able to speak through the radios too.

That is it for now. I will remeber more later. I will need alot of help on this so if you want to i would like an input on this. :)

Awsome idea, but without a significant amount of modding it won't ever work. In COD you can't use anything but the mg42 and the ptrsh, no vehicles, nothing. And you can't change how the gametypes work through the map file.

Well I knew that, that is why I am asking for help with the mod part. You can also make vehicles in the map, but you have to write a file to make it move. In my mp_snipe map i made my cable cart move. Besides all I want the planes to do is fly in, i have seen plenty of that on alot of servers and some of them even drop bombs! I dont plan to do this all by myself if I even do do it...
