Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me if there is a program that lets you edit and change cod2 demos into a movie? Just something else to spend some time on messing around with. Thanks...

Fraps probably can.

You'll have to play the demo in CoD2 and then let fraps record the screen for you. It will take up massive amounts of HD space though, because it will be an uncompressed avi file.

In CoD there also was a command to make an x number of screenshots per second... I forgot what it was.. but if you search for "movie" in the CoD section it should come up. You can then place all those screenshots behind eachother to make a movie.

Thanks The_Caretaker, It worked great, and I found a way to change that large file into a much smaller wme file using WMEncoder. Now the hard part. finding a tool to edit the movie with. I just want to grab small portions of different saved movies and put them together. Thanks again...

i use "Easy Screen Recorder" its free. But the free version, its exactly like the full version except it says "Easy Screen Recorder" in red letters in the middle but its not bigger then this font. if you buy it then it gets rid of the thing in the middle of the screen, personally, i dont notice it after watching for a little bit.

If you're running Windows XPyou've got "Windows Movie Maker" installed on your computer.. I suggest updating it through microsoft.com to WMM2.. after that you're good to go to do all the basic things you want to do to your movie.

Should I open the frap avi, modify it, then convert it to a wme file? Thanks for the reply Masterchief, Ill give that a try also. Frap also leaves its mark in the top center, but I'm not worried about that. Basically I want to make a cod2 movie of players doing some more than obvious things. lol
