This is a new snipermap its a remake from my cod1 {CST}Hotel..

Its a tdm snipermap with a devider so you can`t crose sides..

The shooting range is around the 300 yards..

here are some screenshots..

Some hints (I'm not a very good mapper, but I can tell you these):

1. Use the decallbrushes to make sure you cannot see through your roof from the inside.

2. Make sure ALL visible caulk is gone.

3. Add some nice light effects.

4. Make sure you haven't got any Z-fighting.

5. Don't make both sides almost identical: it takes away the realism.

6. You shouldn't be able to get in every room and on every roof. There are a little bit 2 many snipespots now :p .

7. Maybe you can add some detail.

8. Some more hints, but I cannot come up with any new ones ATM ;) .

But this is a SNIPER map an then you have to get on all roofs an rooms,an because its for a tournament the sides must be the same..

That's your choice, but personally, I would use some other textures on the other side, or add some extra landmarks, like a tower or a lake or something, that you cannot enter. That way both sides will look different, but be the same. Personally, I think snipe-maps can be really nice, but they most look appealing ;)
