While I'm sure other people would tell you otherwise, I'm still not convinced that those tables have anything to do with accuracy in multi-player.

I don't know exactly what to change, but I do know that I have never seen any difference no matter what changes I made.

I have to agree with filbert on this, I've edited both sets of accuracy files and have never seen a difference in accuracy. Now in the MG42 file, there is a key setting just named \accuracy\?\. You may try entering that into a weapon file and see if it works. I have never tried it.

I've been trying to research this myself but thought of doing it in a different manner of regulating the recoil and bullet distance of each gun itself in the properties. The question I have is in the weapon properties section, what do these properties mean?

maxDamageRange - default is '2000' for m1 garand (differes with each weapon, mp40 is 1000) but I'm unclear on what that value stands for, is it generic or a measurement in feet or meters?

I think I understand the concept of it is that its the distance a bullet will travel and have maximum effect - but what does the number mean?

also with this one, is a minDamageRange - again, assuming it means how far a bullet will travel and have a minimum damage effect.

maxDist - default is '680' for m1 garand (mp40 is lower, springfield higher in comparison) this value almost seems like its in meters, but still, im unclear what this value actually defines, and if it has any relation to the max and min damagerange above.

then, it appears i could regulate accuracy by changing the adsSpread values or hipSpread values that there would be more variance in the gun kick from the default values.

Does this make sense or am I reiterating work already done?
