well, so far inland from sword beach is the one I will make if no one votes for another map by Friday I will make it.

nevermind about Friday I will start the map today, I looked at google maps and fount where I want to make the map.

I'm working on an omaha beach project....
And not a Saving Private Rayan like omaha but a real historical omaha beach...

I was also working on a omaha beach map until I ran into some probs. anyway what I did for the landing craft was I just set up some Higgins boats as cover and spawned the player in the water.

Thats exactly what I did....
It feels dull, 'cause there is no opening scene where you see the beach, get to the beach and the ramps drop with bullets droping all arround you....thats what I'm missing
Anyway, untill somene shows me how to doo it, do you know how to add watter that slows your movement?

no, sorry. I have a question, How did you get your Higgins models into the map? when I tried they were all the default car model. That's why I didn't finish the map. :(

You just have to make a script_model or script_vehicle and set it to load higgins boat....AFAIK this solves all problem with the screwed up car.
