Hello everyone,

I built a map for COD2 MP. It's a map of the condo that me and my friends live in, with all of our places. I took a great deal of time measuring every last thing, and taking photos of everything for the textures. It took forever, but it turned out awesome.

My problem is that, with some testing, the whole scale of everything is just a little too small. The players can't fit through some doors/around furniture, and in general it just looks a touch small.

Is there a good way to resize the entire map? I've tried selecting everything, then using selection > Scale... but that doesn't do a very good job on angled walls, joints, and all of the textures are messed up. I tried saving it as a prefab and scaling that (hoping it would treat it as one object) but you can't scale a prefab, you have to edit the original structure.

Am I just out of luck? Do I have to pretty much start from scratch? (all of the jointed corners don't line up, and that's just one issue. I'd pretty much have to start from scratch if there is no other way to resize a whole building.)

Thanks for any advice anyone might be able to offer!

yeah your kind of out of luck, you need to resize it your self maybe certain areas of your map will scale work but not the whole thing like you tried. sorry no easy way around it.

Thanks for the reply. I figured as much, but I was hoping for some magic solution. I built the map using 1 unit = 1 inch, and that resulted in the too-small map.

In the future I'll use the measurements as a guidline, but ensure that some minimum standards for height/width are met.

In the end I "widened" the doors, etc by making a few inches on each side non coliding. Not a great solution, but it got us playing the map the fastest.
