What are the clip textures? (clip_ai, clip_nosight, clip_player, etc.) What do they do?
Also I can't select them or see them unless I press "i" to select all objects then I finally see them but I have to de-select every other object to delete them... is there any way to see them and select them?

Absolutely, hit "F" for the filters and either checkmark to see or none to hide.

Player clip is the most common and is used to prevent a player from advancing any further. You can still shoot through it though.

im not sure what they do exactly im not a great mapper, but i know its basicly an invisible solid brush i normaly use clip. but the reason why you cant see it in radaint is because you need to click the View tab at the top left, then click the Show button, then check of Clip. and you will see other things in there as well you could check off i have everything checked besides Blocks.

clip: basic clip
clip_ai: clips ai chars.
clip_foliage: non-stopping clip, on collison foliage rustle plays
clip_full: clips all
clip_metal: non-stopping clip, on collision metal ping plays
clip_missle: stops missles
clip_missle_no_player: doesnt stop player missle
clip_player: stops player
clip_snow: plays snow sound
clip_vehicle: stops vehicle
clip_water: plays water sound and watersheeting effects
clip_weap_glass: plays glass fx and sound
clip_wood: non-stopping clip, on shooting makes wood hit soounds
