im currently creating a map and prefabs and player models appear black when playing as if the was no lightgrid
this is seen the picture below


(any effects or bots used via k3 mod)

i haven't made a vision file (still looks a bit confusing in tutorials)
and there are a few different light colours seen in the map (could be relevant
i also haven't done any portals yet

please post any suggestions

do not quote me as an expert, because i may be stating the obvious here.

Do you have worldspawn values?

if i do not have any, my world is black wherever there is no In-map lighting. if you are missing them here is what you could do.

go here:worldspawn settings resource pick a level from the original game and copy the entire list of values.

open your map in notepad and at the top where you see classname worldspawn paste over those words ( leave the brackets and everything else)

save

compile bsp reflections and ff.

play away

seems that somehow the worldspawn contained the outhouse model.....
anyway everthings sorted[thumbs_up]
