I made a custom model with 3dsmax and managed to import it into the q4 but now i want to make a collision mesh for it. I know that i can do it from within the editor using brushes or with the automated script from the editor but i want to be able to make my own from within 3dsmax.
How i can do that? I already have my two .ase files(my model and the collision model) and .mtr files so what else do i need?
Keep in mind that i have not tried to make a collision with the methods i mentioned above.i just know that i can. i am interested more for creating custom collision from 3dsmax.

It's something to do with a .def file that i need to create?and put inside the clipmodel command with the path of my mesh or something.?

Thanks in advance.Sorry for the English i'am from Greece[wave]
