Hey, I just installed the WW tools and tried running launcher.exe and got this error:

Quote:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

Im running Vista x64...
From what I read the tools were supposed to work fine for a 64 bit system.

I used the v1.2 zip and extracted the contents of 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 folders into my CoDWW directory in order.
I was trying to run as administrator.
I made sure my .net is up to date.

I have never had a problem with application compatibility on my vista before, I have no idea what could be causing this...
Any ideas?

Hmm... ok, I've been thinking and I thought that maybe I should have ran the launcher and converter after installing every patch...

So I started again, this time with 1.0 and I am running the converter right now, launched it without problems, and everything seems to be fine for now...

Ill continue this and see if it'll fix everything...

Ok, i fixed it...
Turns out some of my files didn't extract properly and I had to extract some of the folders separately for it to work...
However now Im getting an error many people seem to be stuck on...

couldn't load material '$default'
GetLastError() = 0 >> if I run it as admin
GetLastError() = 2 >> if I run it normally

Right now Im looking at causes and fixes of the same error that occured in CoD4 radient...
Let's see if I find something :/
