dark water texture Soldier of Fortune : SoFII Mapping Study the shader files. In there after a bit you'll get the hang of what is going on and then once you do have a grip. Make your own shaders and then you should be on the road to dark water.I know not much help but it is a step in the right direction.... [more] |

Glass Problem? Soldier of Fortune : SoFII Mapping Hmm the ones that are func_glass just make sure they have their sides caulked and if memory serves you have to have the ones that aren't func_glass made into func_glass or you just get the HOM effect (hall of mirrors). MD3 Files =/ Soldier of Fortune : SoFII Mapping Are you using the SDK or GtkRadiant?In the SDK make sure the paths are set right in the Project Settings.ie: C:\SoF2sdk\bin\entities.def,As for the GtkRadiant I can't see why what razoRjaw said didn't work.Hope this helpsCheers... [more] |

basic: how to make two connected rooms? Glass Soldier of Fortune : SoFII Mapping The best one to use IMO is the glass_spread. Nice and clean until your up close and personal with it. Just remember to have the window caulked and then apply the texture to both sides of the window. This defeats the z-fight that goes on.Cheers... [more] |
