sup guys my map won't start in Call of Duty... i hav my arena, gsc, and bsp files in the pk3 so i'm not sure why it isnt starting

Hmm, are you sure that you compressed all of these files into a .iwd? And if so, did you follow the guidelines as to what folders your different files go in and what not? Check this out and make sure you have all of your files as seen here: http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-333.html

This tutorial is for CoD2 maps, but I'm sure vCoD isn't much different when it comes to the structure of a .iwd file. Or is it?

If I AM in fact wrong about CoD using a .iwd, check this one out and make sure you followed the instructions correctly. If you still experience problems, your best bet is to start over... make a new arena, gsc, and bsp. http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-116.html

what do you mean by it won't start?, How are you trying to load it?

First of all, i made a pk3--not a iwd-- using the " making a pk3" tutorial
   HERE. And second, i'm trying to load the map through the map list in the "Start New Server" part.

Yeah Making a Pk3 is right. Ok so you click start and nothing happens or.....what error messages do you get?

I'm really sorry if i wasted your time i managed to figure out what was wrong... when i clickd the start button, the console would say "can't find mp_cheese.bsp"

my bsp name was wrong. but thanx anyway hey
