can someone explain the blend textures ?
is it like a decal ?
we got to use the same process ?

why do we have for example me_plaster_01 as primary texture and me_plaster_01_blend instead of an other texture with simple an other color.

also what s the difference between blend, decal, or trim textures ?

sry if those infos are here somewhere, could find them.

Blend textures are as the name suggests, they are used for alpha blending, basically its a non-solid, 'see-through' texture when used on its own. There are tutorials for alpha blending.

In brief the point of blending textures to make a surface more realistic e.g from mud to grass you can blend the textures together instead of having a dead straight line between them.

Again it's what the name suggests, you use it to add a 'trim' to something on you map, for example, architrave around a door or an edging on a table..
