I have tried my absolute best to follow the tutorials, I have read them over and over religiously but cannot seem to get my map 'snowing'. I have added all of what I assume I need, yet the game says it fails to load the .efx file. The first screenshot is of my .gsc and _fx.gsc file. I also included my assets file to see if I was missing anything from there: http://i31.tinypic.com/ou4cx1.jpg The next screenshot is what I get in game: http://i29.tinypic.com/23rkd5c.jpg I just don't understand what I must do to get the snow falling. And also, when I do eventually get it sorted (with help from someone here I hope) will it snow through solid surfaces still?

I also created a 'createfx' folder with the _fx.gsc file inside but this didn't change anything. Any ideas? I would be very grateful.

Just look in the gsc files of a stock map with that weather effect, and copy that code :)
