This is my first time mapping cod2 and this is the error i get.

Could not find script 'maps/mp/your_map_name_fx'
*************************************

I saw somthing in the gsc file with that so i took off that line and i still get that error. What do i have to do to fix this?

In the below shown copy of your .gsc where I put the red // put them in your .gsc and see if that helps at all.

No you dont need to recompile for anything that you mess with in the .gsc.

Your second reference to the error 4336 is that after trying the gsc that I suggested?

Yes and i recompiled it anyways b4 you replied to my post but i didnt change anything on the map and i didnt see any errors when compiling so i dont know what it is.
