This is one of the first game play videos released, and I must say it is looking VERY impressive. Not just look, but sounds good too.

Biggest thing that jumped out to me is the voice chatter between ships, when they start getting damaged or lock onto the enemy etc..

I hope my laptop can run this game.  :cool:

Not bad, but again, it's nothing more then a mix between BC and SFC.

I don't know - my big problem with BC was the brain-dead torpedo aiming/accuracy.  I even tested it in (I believe) the first training mission - there was a cargo container at a dead stop in space, I came to a dead stop, it said I had a weapons lock, I fired several torpedos, and over 50% MISSED THE STATIONARY TARGET FROM A STATIONARY PLATFORM.

I never saw them perform that badly on the shows.  Judging from this video, it looks like they behave the same way in the new game.  I found it extremely frustrating (I want ACCURATE Star Trek, darn it!), so I may just give this game a pass.

I may be mistaken but this looks like the first game with target tracking on the torpedoes... which is nice.  If we can do it now it should be possible in 400 years.

I agree as well, I never had a problem either in BC, were as SFC I did to a degree
