Holy locked up moose!

Anywhere from 700 to 2,500 people, including babies, would have been held in internment camps before being shipped off to more permanent detention facilities.

Lock up those babies, Canada!

at least ours was closed down. yours are still active. the one in Alaska holds a million people.  (be afraid)

Well, then I guess you guys were just ignoring that particular law you have in this case.

Well, at the very least it makes more room for the rest of us.

I am glad the Canadians decided to target babies as well.

I've never trusted them.

That is a new one though...I don't think even President Bush has decided to take on the Baby Threat yet...and you guys were 20+ years ahead of the curve!

in the canadain case they were going to give early release to anyone in maximum security that only had one year or less to serve.. and make room for innocent civilianms with anti-government views.

in the american case they have this really cool scam going where they keep closing down military bases across the country and then asking congress to build new ones in the same town.
chances are, if you're american,  then you know of a recently closed military installation in your backyard.  just.. waiting.  
(to be used as your local detention center in the event of a civil uprising terrorist insurgency.   so much for the second ammendment )

according to the article, the plan was, to put the babies in the care of relatives and/or foster parents while their real parents were being illegally detained without trial.  which is exactly what happens to kids in any home when their parents get arrested for anything  there was no plan to 'imprison' the babies

(watch "Law and Order" if there's nobody to take the kids while mommy's getting arrested then they call for a social worker. thats all the article talks about)
