So I started my first real job this week. I now work part-time at a local Canadian Tire (fellow Canucks will know the place. It's a national icon ). And now I find myself with a vastly larger regular income then I am used to, not too mention plenty of ideas on how to use it. First thing I'm getting, I've decided, is a cell phone. I've been noticing more and more situations in my day-to-day life where it would really come in handy. I'm thinking of buying a Sony Ericsson W600i off of Ebay and signing up for pay as you go from a local netowork. Any comments / suggestions? I don't know much about the whole cell phone thing.

Young harles... sniff all grown up now. Yeah, that phone looks nice...I'd go for it, but be sure you figure out all your costs and make sure you can cover them, because that's how people end up in deep holes. Plus those cell phone services like to nail you with all kinds of hidden crap.

yea the newer model of the one corry and me have is great the 850i (IIRC)

Whats the wage anyhow at canadian tire? My current jobs been pretty good. Getting paid bout double the minimum wage.. (being paid 14$/hr) Goodluck on the job. Remember work hard, and go big!

You should decided a fixed amout of each check to put into a savings account, doesn't have to be much... and by all means, buy toys.
