An electrically neutral, highly ionized gas composed of ions, electrons, and neutral particles. It is a phase of matter distinct from solids, liquids, and normal gases.

He means it in the case of the "fourth" state of matter, when the gas becomes so hot the atomic bonds break and it becomes a soup of subatomic particles.

This is not plasma. This is more like the big bang...

Simply, electron are no more bound to their nucleus.

In case of hydrogen, it's a mix of proton and electron.

But in case of other gaz, their core doesn't break appart. Only electrons are no more bound.

There is no subatomic particules involve in plasma... Like I said, when you turn on a neon, you create plasma.
