Isn't that the idea of posting, to voice your opinion on topics that you feel passionate about. You still have to use common sence in posting.

Yes, of course. All I'm saying is, if you're angry, just wait till you're level headed before posting. Heck, the same can be said for speaking in RL.

i think more moderation is not realy needed. i think it would realy kill the board if we disallowed these topics again.
as thilo said, we dont talk about EF anymore, so we need to find other subjects of interest.
if people dont like political topics, just dont enter them, they are usualy rather obvious by their title.
and please dont open a new forum for political debate. we dont visit the general area, and we wont start visiting the general EF Political area if there is one, the way i see it, we are ither in THIS forum or in no forum on this board.

I agree with the people who say that the problem shall correct it's self now. So I say we do nothing and see what happens. As I liked the way things were.

Actually I'd have to second that.  Granted it's not our place, but he is very active and it is my experience that the more active you are, the more likely you'll be able to spot potential problems before they become problems and also distinguish between a problem and something that only seems like a problem but really isn't.

this forum is still so active after all these years because we have grown as a community and a mature one at that. i think i,m safe to presume that we can all have a bad day and rant on about some crap thats unset us will out not having he thread closed.

how often do threads turn into flame wars these days. i know some of you guys take the mickey out of each other but its the community spirit having a laugh so returning back to heavy moderation is a no for me because we can control our selves

There have been a number of posts in the past little while that have made me mad, so I just haven't posted in a while.

If things stay as they have been, that would be bad, but if everyone thinks they can moderate themselves, them I agree that would be for the best. Until everyone forgets in a couple months that is  :p

PS Corran Horn for Mod! :s2:
