Yeah, I was talking to a couple friend's about Canada's lack of a world-class soccer team today. Turns out the soccer team several of my friends are on is coached by a guy who was on the qualifying team.

Yeah, there`s something not quite right with that list, USA, above France and Italy? Yeah right, I mean, they aren`t even in the same league as England, and they are rated 5th?

Is that list just for this competition, or are those the actual Fifa rankings?

i think its because of the games they had lately, probly the US only played weak countries from north central and south america, but all the european teams constantly have to compete with eachother. but as far as i can figure that is the actual FIFA world ranking.

Yeah, the US is ranked a tad higher than they should be. Without a doubt. Also, hooray for the Italian victory today against Ghana. They may not be as good as they were in their glory days, but the Italians can still bring it. There showing the World Cup games on the 50'' plasma widescreen in the library all this week, so I'm sure to be watching alot of these games

The Australia Japan game was awesome I saw the last 30 minutes of it when I got home from work, We were 1 goal down then in the last 8 minutes scored 3 goals, was amazing.

Well, although we won tonight, that was quite a worrying performance until we brought on Rooney, starnge how a sub can seem to lift a whole team in to playing like a real team.
