I'm attempting to actually convert a few demo's to .avi format. I use the aviDemo command at the console, and no problems there. I even went ahead and changed the com_avidemoHeight and Width to the file size I want, 256 isnt enough. My problem is the sound files created. When I avi a demo it creates all the necessary .tga files, but the sound files are always 0 bytes.

If I use the 'default' sound setting, the engine creates a .wav file. If I use the 'OpenAL' setting it creates two .raw sound files, one left and one right, for stereo I'm assuming. However in both cases the audio files are 0 bytes.

Does anyone know how to get it to extract the sound from a demo correctly, or what cvar to use that perhaps I'm not to get the right audio files?   :s6:

EDIT : Today a new problem has arised! Now when I avi a demo the game just shuts down when its done, or seems to be done. When I checked the directory, still alot of .tga files and STILL 0 byte audio files. But the game engine leaves my computers graphic settings all bright and washed out. At least before it would load the game menu when it was finished.
