Why, New York of course.  The next two in this class will also be named for 9/11 locations, Arlington (Pentagon) and Somerset (county where flight 93 went down).  Absolutely fitting that this should happen, IMO.

That all depends, is he talking about building more naval vessels (/chekov: wessels) or is he talking about building monuments and memorials (possibly Osama's head on top of a flagpole...)?

How can you tell what he was trying to say?

I'm all for naming ships after locations that were the victims of 9/11,
but it's kind of silly to use scrap metal when building a $700 million dollar navy vessel.

Plus steel is expensive these days.   China is buying it all up to build stuff with... serious.
