I downloaded and tried the program and it's a good tools like most advanced programs it can do a lot however like ALL advanced photo tools you can't do anything very simple and that's why I don't like it. Simple little things like making a single pixel wide line with the scribble tool does not work right because it auto blurs it. Then things like resizing same thing auto blur it. What if I want a true pixel by pixel size adjustment without the blurring after 40 min of looking I was unable to find a way to do it but the old MSpaint that's the only option available? Then things that other advanced programs like photo shop has it doesn't like merging lairs I looked all over for how to join to lairs together and could not find an option.

The problems with all the photo editing tools out there is they can do Simple things or Advanced things nothing in-between at least from what I have seen. So I use a bunch of simple tools to do things I need like MSpaint, stile, ulead photo express, and will probably use this PaintDotNet tool for some things but it cant replace MSpaint (at least not yet probably less likely to in the future as they remove more simple functions and replace them for advanced garbage) You get the point.

I see my sister do some amassing things in Photoshop but some simple things she gets frustrated about because she can't do them or she spends long amounts of time doing them because the program is bloated. In the same way I was amassed at some of the things she could do in Photoshop she was equally amassed at how fast and easy some of the simple things I could do in MPpaint that she can't do in Photoshop

The day I find a tool that by default has the simple settings setup and works just like MSpaint yet with a click of the mouse can do things just like Photoshop I will throw all my other tools away but that's not going to happen so I am stuck in the middle

What can paint do that Photoshop can't?  I honestly can't think of much other than make aliased, pixelated lines... Photoshop 7.0 and above turns those into vectors... But aside from that, you can do pixel by pixel stuff in PS...

And you can merge layers. Ctrl + E or Layer --> Merge Linked or Merge Visible

I think he meant in that program Flix recommended, not PS.
