apparently sg1 and atlantis failed to do well wen they premiered on friday. bad ratings. ppl dont like like both shows no more. my bro sez that scifi channel have cut da eps down to 10 from 20. n both shows wont be renewed. while battle star galtica is gettin a new season cuz its better and did betta than sg1 n crappy altanits.

Well, I haven't found anything indicating a cancelation.  Plus, knowing executives, they'll wait until atleast the 5th episode in before making a final decision.  Otherwise they could be acting too rashly.
