Empress Hoshi Sato, wow, that was on plot twist I did not see coming, I was half expecting to see Archer walking into a decimated Starfleet Command or something...

The Defiant was even more beatutiful, it was just like watching TOS!

The Gorn, well, he didnt look like the Gorn for TOS, but then again the TOS Gorn was a just a peice of rubber while this one was CG, but that was a good seen, it was good to see a Gorn on a newer series and in more detail.

So, Agent, Empress Sato. Happy?
:p

The Defiant looked absolutely beautiful.  Her pristine saucer section reminded me a lot of Hoshi's forehead.

It's a little bigger though.  (the forehead, not the saucer section) :D

I feel sorry for the servants who will have to hold up her head.

Great episode I thought.  I really liked seeing the old ship in combat.

That was one heck of a plot twist at the end. Kinda fitting though. With Archer being Emperor it would've happened sooner or later. Very fitting with the whole backstabbing the CO thing. :)

With all that backstabbing no one would be able to gain any power at all and everyone would be in the stone ages still. Also the Gorn are a tough race in the normal universe so in the reverse wouldn't they be more like the normal federation?

A: Not everything in the mirror universe is opposite. The Tholians were still an Empire.

B: Besides, if you think about it, the Gorn was just fighting the Terran Empie. He was really the "good guy" of the episode.

What a fantastic reason to explain the seemingly lack of technological progress from the USS Defiant in the MU 22nd century to the ISS Enterprisein the MU 23rd century.

Of course, there are *many* possible explanations, but that's a good one.
