those tests are also dependant on the server/traffic/whatnot, at the test site. the best thing to do is run the test a few times, at different times of the day, and take the average. example: I just ran the test at dslreports.com (ran it twice back-to-back) and it gave me two different results. the first one was about 2400/450 and the second was 2700/475. and if I run it at 4am, I'll probably get more like 3000/500 (IIRC, I pay for 1500/500.. ..so I've got insane download speed, but my upload speed is a little low)* (its probably a good thing that I don't host games) ------------------- * this can be caused by 'too much' juice on the cable line. a limiter on the line will reduce signal strength, and allow better upload speed.

I tried on a server that was only 'busy' (those last tests were on 'very busy' servers)
