I don't think we will ultimately - it's just that we need to be stimulated by either a world event, an exciting new game/hardware platform/technology, or a good old fashioned flame war

In theory we *could* make the board more active, but it would involve relaxing the rules about content - eg, having threads about religion, politics, etc.  Which would also probably change the character of the board, so it may not be worth it in the end.  Also Raven probably wouldn't go for it...
