Ok, so ive done everything correct so far with the mapping in foylemans video, then i went into the compile stage, opened it, changed the file extension thing to get all the maps, put my map (mp_first) into the my maps tab. then i clicked on it and pressed compile. the cmd window pops up, but it only lasts for a couple of seconds. then i go to retrive the files, just like in the video, and nothing is in the mp maps folder... WHY?!!

Ok, so i restarted and tried again, and when i tried to compile i got an error box that said,
"filename D3dx9_27.dll not found" or something, and that reinstalling might fix the problem...
what does this mean?
