Question for anyone. Is there a team balance mod out there like the one in UO that would not let you join the team with the most players? It would tell you to join the team with the least amount of players. If you would try to join the team with the most, it would flash a message across the screen saying "Pleas join other team, joining this team would result in uneven teams" or something like that.

Codfiles.com might have one because people submit quite alot of mods and maps on there, also google is a very good source.

if you're talking about CoD 1, my clan {DGC} runs the CoDam mod. it auto balances no matter what team you try to join. say its 13 allies vs 12 axis, if you click allies you will be forced to choose an axis weapon and join the axis team. and vise-versa. the mod gives you no option to join the other team..unless you're team has more people then the others. even switches you mid-game if the teams are off blance and you can't go back. Info to the mod itself

No, I was talking about COD2. Just wondering if they had that mod for it.

ahum! - from your description of autobalancing, it sounds like you dont need a mod, but to use the autobalance server command:

set scr_teambalance "1"

This is the command and server function that gives you the 'would leave an unbalanced team' message.

Is that what you were talking about, and perhaps didnt know it wasnt a mod?

So that makes it so it won't let someone join a team with more players? It tells them to join the team with the least players? If so, THANK YOU!!!! We have been having a lot of problem's with people stacking one team so its like 12 against 6.

i do have the solution, but i dont know how to mod. What you do is remove the options allied and german from the list, leaving only AutoAssign and spectate to choose from. The rifle server {BAD} has this and I love it. To me it makes perfect sense, there are occasions where a specific army is desired, but people for the most part are complete morons when it comes to keeping teams even and creating fair games. as I said, if you use the games autobalance you dont need a mod. it simply assigns you to the team with the LEAST people in it.

btw - the menu with only the 'autoassign' button showing is Worm's Powerserver mod

Talked to the admin guy for our site. He said thats already in there and that message doesnt come up when you try to join. Any other ideas? Maybe your off a number?
