Don't know [ohwell]. That's why i'm asking. But this has been implemented on another quake3 engine games, and it started as a Q3 mod.

The only thing I can do is predict player angles. Here is what I did:
- Calculate player's ping.
- Adjust player's angles when he hit attackButton, based on ping.

Hello,

To calculate player's ping, I dont know how to do it yet.
But I can adjust player angles when he hit Attack button. This is used in CoD on consoles (PS3, XBOX, ...): when you press AIM button, the gun auto-aims for the in-sight enemy.

The problem is, when the ping is too high (~500), this script will accidentally become aimbot-like script: the player dont even know who/where to aim, just spam Attack and he gets some easy point.

Therefore, I prefer let people suffering in lag.

But that's not an antilag or lag compensation

You can't.

CoD doesn't support this type of low level source code modding. From what I can tell the unlagged mod for Q3 is more of a change to the core game code (in the zip download in first post you'll see a bunch of .c files in code/cgame and code/game). Since the Q3 engine is open source it's possible to modify and recompile that kind of stuff.
