well, I tried to set worldspawn settings in WaW SP map so that there was a really, really dark night (not like those semi-bright stock maps)
I've searched all Modsonline by any possible keywords, but the most I could find was a list of worldspawn setting for stock maps... when I copied the one of Makin Atoll (first mission), I got just this:

Umm... I need it much much darker, not yet black... I also wonder where to get better skybox - I believe this skybox (skybox_mak1) is the darkest available... not nearly dark enough...

I make a city at night (say 5 a.m.) and need to have dark, almost black world, with only streetlamps lighting the surfaces. The darkness will be needed to camouflage the low detail of world geometry, among others.

If I understood english good enough to meaningly translate the attributes names (sundiffusecolor, diffusefraction etc.) it would be much easier, but without seeing what each attribute does, it is just a matter of coincidence... so I need help from anybody who has ever messed up with custom worldspawn settings

Thanks for potential help

Reduce your 'sunlight' value (simulates the world lighting) and the 'ambient' value (makes shadows darker)

The skybox shouldn't matter if it isn't dark enough. Just using the darkest one.

Set the ambient to 0.05 and the sunlight to 0.05 as well. You can set it lower to make it even darker. You can change the _color to black, and that should darken the map up.

So do whoever is mystic said....
