My mod consists
-textures
-accuracy files
-GSC files
-aitype
-fx
-new menu music
-modified weapons
-some text in Mod.csv to get M4_silencer to MacMillan and Mp5_silencer_refle to the cargoship.

I double checked the mod.csv for errors.

I tried to disable each and every one of the folders from the mod but still not working.

You never answered my question: how are you running your mod? You cant run a SP mod from the mod folder as that uses the MP .exe.

Im suspecting that this is where you are going wrong - running a SP mod as a MP mod will give an out of memory error.

Running a MP mod as a SP mod will also give an out of memory error.

To run a SP mod in COD4, you have to manually put the mod.ff file in the zone folder. Switch to SP mode, and drop down console. Then, type in your map name:

/spmap mapname

That will then run your mod.

Oh sorry. I didn't fully understand what you meant. I have a SP mod without any new maps - just modifiated characters and weapons - running with the SP exe. I have +set fs_game mods/mymod in my shortcut.

I dont believe it can be done from the mod folder no matter what .exe you specify. The mod folder is controlled by the MP.exe only - there is no reference to it in the SP.exe.

Several SP modders like Babycop found this out back in 2008. They found you have to do it the way I described.

I found out that if I put my mod.ff needed to get new weapons to an existing single player map to the zone folder, I won't get them into the level. If I put it to my mod folder, I will get the weapons but some levels give me out of memory error. Where the h*ll do I put the file to make my mod work properly.
