I created a little building for the first time yesterday and that worked fine and could play it when i click on run the selected map it loads fine and can play.

Today I created a building starting my first map put some textures on it put multiplayer spawn points lights etc and compiled it and followed the steps and when i click load selected map it says Team Death Match and mp_garage and then goes straight to load mp_backlot why doesnt my map load ?? any help please I bet it is something silly but I only started using the program yesterday with the help of modsonline.com youtube videos.

I just noticed there is no global intermission in my map do you need one of these to run your map ?? I put it in my test room i made yesterday but i didnt put it in at the start and it still ran so it cant be that i dont think

The problem you are having is a commonone.
Just load your map manually.
use the consolecommand.
Press the button next to the 1 and type in /map mp_yourmapname.Change the "yourmapname" toyour own.
And for the global intermission? this is only used for what you are looking at when your map is loading.
