Map Errors : Definitions and Solutions
A leak happens when there is a gap in the outer hull of the map, or you have placed an entity outside the hull of the map. Load you’re map into the editor and click on "file" and then "pointfile". You should now have a red line starting from an entity, and ending somewhere outside you’re map. Just seal the gap and compile youre map again. You may need to repeat this process several times until there are no more leaks.

Through a floor
I have a small problem. You see, I pointfiled, and it\'s going straight through a floor. A solid floor. I don\'t understand why.
Also, I tried removing the light that was the problem, and it was still leaking, but no showing me where it was with pointfile.

Same Thing
The same happend to me, i used pointfile and the line appeard, it looked like it was pointing to a spawn point so i deleted it, then it pointed to the same spot and i realised it was the florr, so i moved the floor up to make sure it was, then the pointfile was pointing at the thin air where the florr WAS!?!?!?!? also the end of the line thats outside the map, doesnt go through/point at any holes in my map... *pissed off*

How to fix this
I have had this problem, like everyone else. I did the \"Pointfile\" and it had it going through a wall, the gorund, a spawn point, a weapon, and a ceiling. I had to make sure that my skybox was totally sealed, which it wasnt, so I had to fix it, and it worked.

So just make sure your skybox is totally sealed off on all sides, and see if that helps.
