The Future of MODSonline

Hello MODSonline Clan.

MODSonline has been online for over 20 years. Many of its members have grown up here learning about modding games, experimenting with making games and then moving into the game development industry. It's been a true honor to be a part of everyone's lives. While it's hard for us to let go, we are now contemplating the idea of closing up shop.

We'd love to hear from you if you have anything to say. I hope we've enriched your lives.

Twenty years ago I found this community which quickly unlocked and fuelled the fire of curiosity I had for games, modding and development as a young kid.

Fast forward 20 years, I really look back fondly on the people I got to know, collaborate with and learn from through that journey, and credit it as one of the foundational resources of my career.

Whatever you decide to do, the fact that MODSonline existed when it did and provided such fantastic resources; freely to us all, at a point in time where it was in such demand, will always be such a testament to the community you built.

To say that this venture (Modsonline / Modsonair) was a large part of my life is definitely an understatement.

I met so many great people because of this community, and I definitely treasure every connection made. Not only that, some friendships started through the "MODS" groups have turned into real life friendships - that last through to this day

I will just say a heart-felt "thank-you" to all of my amazing friends that I met through this community for being awesome

Gutted, This site will be a massive loss for me, I learned to map because of you and for that I thank you all.
Will there be a timeline for us to download all we want.
