CSS Bots are Alive!

CoDUO Files Error

We experienced a problem with the CoDUO files in the downloads section late last night. All CoDUO file will be inaccessable until we can restore the server. The server will be restored in 10 hours (~5:30pm EST).

Sorry for the inconvenience. Luckily, we do have backups.

Counter-Strike: Source Bots Coming Soon

In a press release by Doug Lombardi of Valve Software, the Source bot will be released for Counter-Strike: Source on Monday, January 17. The bots are touted to be improved upon their older version and slated for continuing updates in the future.

The update also includes a revised version of the map de_tides, revisited by Turtlerock Studios.

Ubisoft - Who will own it?

If you haven't heard, 5 days before Christmas, EA purchased 22% of Ubisoft without warning. No one knew this was going to happen, not even Ubisoft. Ubisoft commented that they were considering this action as hostile.

IWNation Closed?

It would appear that the cost of service may have caught up with IWNation. IWNation (iwnation.com) used to be a number 1 stop for mappers and modders of Call of Duty. However, today you'll find the site to be missing in action.

There were rumors that the site was not going to be able to afford to stay in business. The costs of hosting and bandwidth were reason. This is actually the reason we here at MODSon... [ There's more ]
