Hello everyone,

After hours of playing around I finally figured out what is going on with the weapons.  I'm putting together what is here on Ravens Forums with my own trial with CRR's 24/7 dedicated server.

seta g_availableweapons  must be removed from your server.cfg file.... AND all of your mapcycle Files.
This means that if you use SOF2 runner to create your mapcycles then you have to modify them before use.

Here is a list of the new commands for weapons.  Add this to your server.cfg file

seta disable_weapon_knife "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_US_SOCOM "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M19 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_silvertalon "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_microuzi "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M3A1 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_MP5 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_USAS_12 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M590 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_MSG90A1 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M4 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_AK_74 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_SIG551 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M60 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_RPG_7 "1"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_MM_1 "1"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M84 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_SMOHG92 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_AN_M14 "0"
seta disable_pickup_weapon_M15 "0"

The "0" represents the weapon being available.... the "1" not available....

But This is not ENOUGH.... if you do not want all weapons available in your mapcycle then you must use the above commands to disable them individually.

A sample of what a working map file looks like is this

map1
{
Command "map inf2"
  cvars
  {
     g_gametype "ctf"
     timelimit "20"
     capturelimit "8"
     dmflags "0"
     g_motd "Scrimmage CRR? http://crr.xgameservers.com"
     g_speed "280"
     scorelimit "8"
     disable_pickup_weapon_MM_1 "1"
     disable_pickup_weapon_RPG_7 "1"
     g_gravity "800"
  }
}
map2

This is a map with the Grenade Launcher and RPG disabled....

NOTE if you leave that g_availableweapons comment in your mapcycle you will have issues like the weapon appearing but being the wrong weapon.... also in Multiplayer running over the weapon causes a crash....

With Regards,
co*Phobic (CRR)

Raven if you have anything to add or correct.. feel free.. its your game.

Thanks, I suspected that was the problem but wasnt sure.  I thought we worked through all the issue with that but apparently not.  You are correct though, if you want weapons disabled then you must specify them individually now.

This helped ALOT!!!  Why (just out of curiosity) wasn't this problem identified during beta testing?  Maybe, this guy should test for you...if he's not already.

Just my thoughts.

I wanted to post a big thank you to Phobic. I didn't even know him and he spent 30 minutes or more in my server, The MDK Dawg House, helping me fix the weapon problems. If he wuldn't have looked at my server config in icq, I would still be workin on this.

OK  questions then:

The mp_barn map is too small for full loadouts and I like(d) to toggle it with JUST knives, pistols,pumpshottie and microuzi in the loadout.  Since it is ELIM there are no pickups.

Is this still possible to do via remote RCON?
Or do these command limit only the 'pickup' weapons?

If it's no longer possible to limit the loadouts, a great deal of functionality has been lost.
I'm still a bit confused...
Can I put a .cfg on the server and exec it there?

Mind you, I don't want the commands in the cycle, but to toggle them manually via RCON.
