Hey Guys,

We have released the map Carentan Beta for CoDWW.

special notes:

- artillery integrated
- NO DOGS in this beta
-------------------------------------
playable gametypes:
FFA, TDM, SD, SAB, HQ (KOTH), CTF
-------------------------------------
mp_carentan beta is nearly a rebuild of the Original CoD-classic map Carentan

specials:

1. modified uniforms/skins by Blitz88 & Kouligov
2. dynamic objects
3. destructible vehicles
4. new textures

map size: medium
-------------------------------------

mp_carentan_beta tested with:
ACE_5.6, AWE 2.5

I'm curious as to if you rebuilt the map from scratch or used a decompiled source?

The original map was decompiled, but just to get an overall view of measures of buildings, streets, etc., as in our opinion, this was one of the best maps regarding playability.
Decompile was just used to set placeholders, but after this, everything was built from the scratch.
YouŽll see, itŽs not an exact copy of the original, but the structure remains the same.
We hope youŽll like it and looking forward to comments, error reports and suggestions for improvements.
