The mod, Doom Chronicles has released a beta from the single player compaign. It contains one level and several new features such as the new Impact Particle system which adds depth to the game. They are asking that all those who test the beta to provide them feedback and report bugs either in their forums or to Cody_b64 @ hotmail.com.

You can check their official website for more details or download the beta right here.

I think it's a great looking mod with a great idea behind it.

I do, however, think you should consider getting some better screenshots on your website. The ones there don't really show it off too well. They are dark and don't show how the mod is different from the actual game.

Thanks for the insights :) I will give that some thought

You really see the shots as too dark? Some, I almost thought i had overlightened in PS.

they are too dark in that I cannot see much when they are in thumbnail view. This could mean that new comers might ignore the image and not click on it.

I really hate the anti-piracy conspiricy [moon]

I pay for it, then I can't find Disc1...

WHY?, because it's not in it's case where it belongs, WHY?, because I have to take it out of the case when I want to play...

So, I have to resort to using a no-cd crack to continue to use my fully licensed product... or buy it again... neither of which are good alternatives...

So I'm gonna have to burn a copy of my buddies CD, to go with my mint condition, used once, disc's 2 &3... When will "THEY" realize that it only hurts honest people...

I must have been in a hurry to install my DVD burner, as I found it in my old drive... [tongue]
