An HL2 Summer

Latest word on HalfLife 2 is that the earliest we will be seeing anything is going to be this summer. I guess the Valve psychic that guessed at April was a bit off that day.CNNMoney reports,

Doug Lombardi, Valve's director of marketing, told me the company "is currently targeting this summer for the completion of Hal... [ There's more ]

The good news is that the tools should be easy to transition into if you know how to mod for HalfLife 1. Also, existing maps should fit into HalfLife 2 with minimal work.

However, here is a quote that has me about to get frustrated, "Part of what mod teams will have to do to get access to the SDK is show up ... [ There's more ]
